A native of southern Tennessee. A pastor's wife, mom, and founder of Just Breathe Ministries. Shea confirms her faith in Jesus from her experience of being brought from death in her sins to life in Christ and now, she can't stop talking about it.

Shea Pirtle began walking with Jesus at the age of 22, and her life has never been the same. Her story is one of rescue and redemption of being brought from death to life and she shares it with the kind of raw authenticity that makes every woman in the room feel less alone.
A native of southern Tennessee, Shea is a pastor's wife, mom of three, and the founder of Just Breathe Ministries. She and her husband Chris are committed to church revitalization, and together they're raising their daughters Sophya and Raegan, and their son Oliver, who joined their family through adoption and lives with dwarfism. Shea is a fierce advocate for God's unique design in every person.
Whether she's writing, teaching, speaking from a stage, or sipping an iced latte on a Jeep ride, Shea lives by the words of Paul: "I believed, therefore I spoke."

A Story Written by Grace
Growing Up in Church, Not in Christ
Shea grew up in church. She knew the songs, the pews, the Sunday routines. But knowing about God and knowing God are two very different things. Beneath the surface, she was learning love in all the wrong ways. The love she experienced as a child and young adult was conditional, confusing, and often painful. This left her searching for worth in places that could never truly hold her until a divine encounter changed everything.
His Love Rewrote Her Story
At age 22, Shea encountered the love of Jesus and everything changed. For the first time, she experienced a love that didn't require performance, didn't come with conditions, and didn't walk away. His love didn't just save her; it rewrote her story from the very first page. That moment of rescue and redemption became the foundation for everything she is and everything she does.
A Pastor's Wife
Shea and Chris married in 2005, and together they have devoted their lives and family to the work of church revitalization, partnering with congregations to bring renewed hope, encouragement, and spiritual growth to communities in need.
Just Breathe Ministries
Shea founded Just Breathe Ministries in 2023 with one burning mission: to help women encounter the life-giving breath of God in the desolate and dry places of their lives. Where the world sees dry bones, God speaks and they come alive.

Shea and Chris are raising three children, Sophya, Raegan, and their son Oliver, who joined their family through adoption and lives with dwarfism. Shea is a passionate advocate for God's unique design in every person.

Just Breathe Ministries exists to help women release the burden of striving and breathe deeply of the life and hope found in the Savior, Jesus Christ. Founded by Shea and led by women from diverse seasons and denominations, the ministry reaches women through speaking, writing, and community, always rooted in God's Word. Our desire is to encourage women toward a deeper and more authentic walk with Jesus.
